Why Tara Mor for the World Cup
Two minutes from Penn Station. Every fan heading to MetLife Stadium on matchday travels through Penn Station — NJ Transit runs the only rail service to the stadium from NYC. Tara Mor is right there. Make it your base.
Big screens. No bad seats. Multiple screens across the bar mean you're never far from the action, no matter how packed it gets.
The Guinness is right. We pour it properly. Every time.
Arrive early. Matchday Penn Station gets chaotic from four hours before kickoff. Get to Tara Mor, settle in, eat, drink — then head down when you're ready. It's a far better start to a matchday than standing on a platform.
Pre-Game at Tara Mor — What to Know
Penn Station is the sole departure point for all NYC-based fans travelling by train to MetLife. NJ Transit rail service four hours before kickoff is restricted to World Cup ticket holders only, so the area around 30th and 31st Street fills fast. Tara Mor gives you somewhere to be while the crowds build.
We're open from 11:30 AM daily — doors are open well before any afternoon kickoff, and we'll be showing warm-up coverage from the earliest group stage matches.
For large groups or private pre-game bookings, contact us at info@taramornyc.com.
